Tips for a good game icon
Start from a 1024 × 1024 image. Smaller sources get blurry when scaled up. Keep the main character or symbol inside the center two thirds, because Android adaptive icons can crop up to a third of the edges depending on the phone. Avoid small text. At 48 px nobody can read it.
The App Store rejects icons with transparency, so this tool fills transparent pixels with your background color for the iOS set. Google Play applies its own rounded mask, so upload the full square 512 px file and do not round the corners yourself.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing happens on a canvas in your own browser and the ZIP is built on your device. You can even use this tool offline once the page has loaded.
